Founded in 1990 as The Fine Arts Society of Kennesaw, the North Cobb Arts League changed its name in 2004 to better serve all of Cobb County. It is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Today NCAL has become an integral part of the north Cobb County area and is one of the leading forces in the arts and cultural environment of Cobb County. This strength is made possible through the support of Gallery 4463 and the city of Acworth area businesses and volunteers.
Our goal is to provide motivation and support for our members, also to create a forum where artists and their patrons can communicate and interact. We work to foster an appreciation and accessibility of the arts for citizens of north Cobb County and the surrounding area. To accomplish our mission, our members work in partnership with existing arts programs in local schools and community centers. We strive to offer programs for the enhancement and growth of our members. For our local patrons, we provide information regarding art activities for all ages, so they can be involved in the process. The North Cobb Arts League is an organization for artists and artisans of various disciplines, to be a focal point and gathering place for the creation of a better Cobb County.

Join us for a great opportunity to sell your art and hand made crafts to the public that will gather for the Acworth Art Fest being held the weekend of
April 14 & 15, 2011.
We will offer tables in the studio and lobby space of Gallery 4463 to those artists wanting to take advantage of this great opportunity. Each table will cost $25.00 with no commission from your sales. Since we have room for only 20 tables, this offering is on a first come, first served basis. We will be placing a newspaper ad, have posters available and giving handouts to visitors along Main Street to encourage visitors.

Instructors Wanted
You love the art you create. Here is a great opportunity to share your unique skills with adults and children at The Acworth Art Center. We have openings for instructors for the spring and summer class schedule. Design your own class schedule, art or craft to be taught, price (Art Center gets 25%), size of class or workshop.
